About Nurture & Grow

Our Nurture and Grow project is about helping a dedicated area in Pimp Hall Nature Reserve in North Chingford, E4 7HR, Greater London, to become a haven for wildlife. We are growing and nurturing flowers and plants that are of benefit to insects, birds, bats and other creatures.

Families from the local community are joining in events and activities from March to October 2022. Through the activities, the families are getting close up to nature, observing how it shifts through the seasons, learning about the habitat and how to help it thrive. At the same time, they are able to make and create through related arts and crafts and have quality time together in a calming and beautiful green space.

We are coming together for a common purpose to make a positive contribution at a grass-roots level by taking practical steps to look after nature within the perspective of wider, global concerns and the understanding that we humans are but a small part of a greater whole.

Walk the Loop is grateful to the Emergence Foundation for providing us with the funding to carry out this project.
